Hello ladies. Yesterday I received a 'guardian grandmas' donation from Debbie Zoeller. She sent the prettiest pastel rainbow colored baby blankets. Three of them are preemie sized, and 3 are regular sized. Just beautiful. Thank you so much Debbie - your hard work is much appreciated. ♥
My little Ladybug woke up from her nap and just had to get into the last 2 pictures. I don't know why she does this, but it's ok - I think she's cute.
Speaking of Ladybug, she is doing much better now. It's been a month since Tex has been gone and my little girl missed her brother terribly. All she did was lay around the house and look sad. She didn't even want to go out. I felt so bad for her. Well, now I know she's feeling better because a couple days ago I took out the vacuum and when I started it, she came running to attack. She did that about 5 times. And she's also going out more often. I'm happy that she's getting back to her old self.
Thanks for dropping by ladies - see ya next time. :)

Hello - I hope everyone is doing well.
This first project is something Vince did for me. They are leather tags that I will stamp words on. Pretty cool.
I'm thinking about a yarn basket with 'yarn' on the tag.
You know - in case I forget what yarn looks like. hahaha. :)
This is a grey and white ripple that Erica wanted me to crochet for the baby. She saw a picture of it on Pinterest and sent it to me. It's an easy ripple to crochet, but the counting drives me nuts after a little while.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 increase, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 decrease
repeat 50 million times.
This cute little minion hat was crocheted for my great-nephew Wyatt. He loved it.
I didn't use anyone's pattern for this - I just did my own - and although there's quite a few patterns out there, I'm thinking about typing mine out and posting it here on my blog.
Well, that's it for now. See ya next time. :)

While I was at the campground, I started putting together the scrappy squares. It was getting too hot to handle, so I would attach one or two squares and then put it down. The temps were around 97 degrees, but it felt like 107 degrees. We have 2 fans on the porch, but breaks to go into the trailer with air conditioning and trips to the pool kept us sane.
I'm also working on a pink baby blanket for my granddaughter-to-be. Wow, that sounds funny to say - granddaughter - I've been saying grandson for almost 16 years now (William is almost 16, James is 9).
The pattern is the 'simply pretty' pattern with two rounds of granny stitch instead of one. The colors are 'pretty n pink' and 'soft pink'.
I bought these two skeins of Red Heart with Love - color is 'fruit punch'. I'll most likely crochet a baby cocoon with it.
Laura and I made a video while at the campground. There's a little bit of crochet and plastic canvas - and a little bit of the campground. :)
Have a great day!

Plastic canvas wraps. I think these are really cool, and they are quick and easy to work up.
New yarns. These are Deborah Norville's Cuddle Fleece. I'm going to make baby cocoons with it.
Merino Superwash yarn that I dyed with food dye. I watched a video on YouTube on how to do it - it was easy enough to do, but I don't think I'm going to do anymore.
Two baby cocoons for the 'guardian grandmas'.
A granny triangle shawl. I crocheted this shawl with yarn I bought at AC Moore. It was a mill ends bag of yarn so I don't know what brand it is.
See you next time. :)
